Injury report; updates

To summarize a busy Wednesday:

-- Right tackle Willie Anderson is out with a knee injury, snapping his consecutive starts streak at 116 games. Stacy Andrews will start at right tackle.

-- Center Eric Ghiaciuc will return to the starting lineup this week at Kansas City, which could help stabilize the run offense.

-- The Bengals signed safety John Busing off their practice squad to a two-year contract. He will start on special teams and could play some linebacker, if needed. He was a college linebacker at Miami University. He takes cornerback Johnathan Joseph's roster spot during his one-game suspension.

-- The Bengals signed kicker Josh Huston to the practice squad. He said he was told to focus on his kickoffs, and head coach Marvin Lewis said coaches would evaluate at the end of the week whether to have him signed to the 53-man roster to kickoff during games.

Do the Bengals have a strength & conditioning program? If so why are the players always hurt?

I don't understand?? I thought the bye week was supposed to get us healthier. There is not going to be one player back that we were expecting (Rudi, Miller, Brooks, Kilmer, Jeanty, or Perry). Plus, we lost two more players with Joseph and Willie. We need these players for special teams, offense, and defense. Marvin is always so vague on injuries. They must be much more serious than we were led to belive. They act like Brooks has a chance every week to play and he hasn't played in a month. We need these players and I thought the bye week was supposed to help.

If Caleb Miller, Jeanty, and Brooks can't go on Sunday, that means that Schlegel, Landon Johnson, and Corey Mays are the only healthy LB's?
