Brooks, Rudi not practicing
The Bengals are into their heavy preparation for the game Sunday at Kansas City, but they might again have to cope with a depleted linebacker corps. Middle linebacker Ahmad Brooks (groin) and backup Caleb Miller (back) are in street clothes and not practicing this morning.
Coach Marvin Lewis said linebacker Rashad Jeanty (calf), who has yet to play this season, has a chance to play Sunday
Tailback Rudi Johnson was in street clothes, too, and he walked off the field with strength coach Chip Morton toward the weight room for what appeared to be a workout. Johnson was not practicing.
Quarterback Carson Palmer said at his 2 p.m. news conference that he expected Kenny Watson to play a great deal.

Had bad is Rudi hurt? He could have a torn groin.
Given their injuries at the position, I am surprised the Bengals did not move to sign a linebacker during their bye week. I understand that Kansas City has been struggling to run the ball. Last time I checked, however, they still have LJ lining up at running back. If the Bengals again have to go with 2 linebackers at any point during the game, it could be a break out game for LJ and the Chiefs.

how should we interpret rudi's news? is he unlikely to play this weekend?
i could say it all in one word "crap"
What about Jeanty at practice?
How about CHAD Johnson? Haven't heard anything about him for over a week. I've been to about 6 or 7 different sites.
I think the Rudi Johnson bit is a show. He'll start. He may only get 15 carries, but he'll start. I expect 60 yards and a TD.
