Tailback Rudi Johnson (hamstring) and linebacker Corey Mays (hamstring) were listed as doubtful, and neither player practiced. Coach Marvin Lewis said he would make a decision Sunday on Johnson.

Right tackle Willie Anderson (knee) is questionable and practiced in limited fashion.

The following seven players are probable and did practice full today: safety Dexter Jackson (knee), linebacker Rashad Jeanty (shin), wide receiver Chad Johnson (ankle), tight end Reggie Kelly (ankle), defensive end Jonathan Fanene (knee), cornerback Deltha O'Neal (back) and safety Madieu Williams (back).

POSTED AT 12:50 p.m.

The Bengals wrapped up on-field work early this afternoon in preparation for the Jets game Sunday.

Linebacker Ahmad Brooks (groin) and tailback Rudi Johnson (hamstring) didn't practice. Wide receiver Chad Johnson (ankle), who was given the day off Thursday, was back on the field practicing today.

Rudi Johnson is doubtful for the game, and coach Marvin Lewis said Johnson's playing status for the Jets would be a game-time decision Sunday.

Tailback Chris Perry (ankle) did not practice and has not started to practice. The Bengals have not begun the three-week window before having to make a decision on a roster spot should they bring Perry to the 53-man roster.

I am really sick of the blogger comments in here about Goodell's bias against the BenGALS and the pet theorists out there. This is a real stretch, even for drunk west side who dey heads. Sheesh, get a grip, your team sucks, it is poorly run, always has been, and Henry and Thurman are not the same situations as Tank Johnson and The idiot in Green Bay. Learn, read or, if you are a die hard GALs fan, have someone read for you and explain why these scenarios are different. God I hate it here!

I don't know about everyone else, but I am sure glad that we got those 4 carries and 8 yards from Rudi last week in KC. Not sure what we would have done without them. Why would Marvin even play Rudi if he knew that obviously he wasn't anywhere close to 100%. I think they need to stop hiring trainers and team doctors that are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, because these professionals are not qualified to be in their current positions. Corey Mays was signed 2 ½ weeks ago and he is doubtful this week. Is our linebacker issue so bad that we have to pluck injured players off waivers from New England just to fill a void? I guess if greatness is unattainable, the next best thing is to grab the players that are let go from greatness. I think the Bengals need to be cognizant of how frail the fan’s loyalty has become. If they are to keep any, they need to show changes rather than saying week in and week out, “it is what it is.”

The injuries all seem to be hamstrings and groins, don't they? Doesn't that point a big ole finger at the conditioning staff? It's crazy how many hamstring and groin pulls we have and how long it takes to get these guys back.

Thanks for the bright and witty comments, Who Dey Head Hunter. As always, we're happy you took the time out of your Steeler worship to come and post on here. Your use of the Gals part of the Bengals name is very witty and original. I'm sure all the "drunk west side who dey heads" won't get it, but nice try. Anyway, thanks again for showing us why we're happy not to be associated with Steeler fans. Enjoy (or hate) the rest of your day....

Who Dey Head Hunter.... You say you hate it here, but you think the Bengals Fans are the only team that crab about their team?? I am sure teams in cities like Boston, or New York or Chicago are much easier on their teams than we are here.. And I can promise you every city has people who have no idea what they are talking about, get over it..

Who hunter is a fag. I am tired of steelers fans feeling all high and mighty and searching out other fan's sights just to talk smack. Get a life ! Goodell has not done us any favors that is a gimmie but what about you guys and davenport or santonio holmes.

You know what I hate? Losers who aren't bengals fans who spend all their time on bengals message boards complaining about bengals fans. If you don't like it you shouldn't be here reading about it. why don't u go back to cleveland or pitt or where ever your sorryself is from and stop whinning about bengals fans. if you hate the bengals why are you on websites about the bengals? why don't you go fornicate with yourself? WHODEY!!!

Yeah it must be bad. Apparently someone forced you to read something against your will and then comment on it.

Must be a city ordinance or something, right?

Do you know why the Steelers have no cheerleaders? Because they can't find enough women in Pittsburg goodlooking enough to make up a cheerleading squad...

Calm down people... We all know how Steeler fans are especially when they started off 2-6 or whatever it was last year.. He is right.. Henry and Thurman are differant and just alcoholics unlike Tank Johnson who was involved in shootings and his security guard being killed... He is just looking to piss off us Bengal fans who are having a bad start.. Its not the first time the team been 1-4 and with a easy schedule, 8-8 can be salvaged and trust me... Mr. Steeler fan is probably very grateful they went 8-8 after a horrible start last year..
