RB Maroney inactive for Pats

Starting tailback Laurence Maroney is inactive for New England tonight. Sammy Morris will start. He was limited in practice last week with a groin injury.

For the Bengals, linebackers Ahmad Brooks (groin) are Caleb Miller (back) are among the Bengals' inactive. Also out for Cincinnati are tailback Rudi Johnson (hamstring), safety Ethan Kilmer (knee), center Dan Santucci, wide receiver Tab Perry (hamstring) and linebacker Rashad Jeanty (calf).

Lineup changes for the Bengals:

-- Andrew Whitworth will start at left guard in place of Stacy Andrews.

-- Alex Stepanovich will make his third consecutive start at center in place of Eric Ghiaciuc.

-- Kenny Watson will start at tailback in place of Rudi Johnson.

-- Lemar Marshall will start at strong-side linebacker in place of Jeanty.

-- Anthony Schlegel will start at middle linebacker in place of Brooks.

Meanwhile ... Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers called the agent for former Bengals and Patriots running back Corey Dillon during the game yesterday after Cadillac Williams was injured. The agent then text messaged Dillon, who turned down the Bucs.
