Former Bengals assistant fired in Jacksonville

After an 8-8 season, Jaguars coach Del Rio fired three members of the offensive staff, including former Bengals assistant and quarterback Ken Anderson. Del Rio said none of the team's quarterbacks have progressed to an elite level. Also fired were coordinator Carl Smith and wide receivers coach Steve Walters. Del Rio fired special-teams coordinator Pete Rodriguez and didn't renew the contract of Mark Michaels, Rodriguez's assistant.

Sorry to hear that about Kenny, a good guy, but his coaching credentials are taking a hit.

Does anyone know if he still has a home in Northern Kentucky and family there?

Ken A is a good man, but I was never impressed with his coaching ability. Hint to Marvin Lewis--this is what happens at franchises that are committed to winning. Mediocre assistant coaches get fired. If you would prefer to be the first to go, then continue to play with a pat hand.

Yeah... like it is Ken Anderson's fault that Jacksonville management drafted those three shmucks.
