Steelers tie at 17

Pittsburgh’s Jeff Reed kicked a 35-yard field goal at 1:03 left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 17.

Pittsburgh went 66 yards on eight plays but had a poor last series to set up the field goal.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis tried to ice Reed by calling a timeout right before the snap, drawing a huge smile from Steelers coach Bill Cowher.

Win or lose in OT, we have the worst assistant coaches in the NFL. You guys have the DUMBEST strategies at the end of games (especially)

From all the poor tackling, lack of execution, dropped passes, the game came down to a 1 minute 7 second Marvin Lewis brainlock. Calling timeout prior to the Reed FG and leaving the Bengals with one and the ridiculous Chinese fire drill act the last 30 seconds. After the snap debacle from last week and the defense get smoked in the last three Steeler drives, the game was done 2 seconds after the OT coinflip.
