Geez, Detroit again? They always manage to destroy one of our draft picks. Play maybe Houston instead.

Alright, lets all say it together now:

Reading comprehension is a good thing.

What we got before was WHO were were playing and the start time to ONE game, the Packers. This now gives the start times for other THREE preseason games.

If Manningham is available in the second round - what is your take on him Mark? DT round 1, Manningham in round 2?

Tough to pass him at that point.

Do you mean Mario Manningham? The same Mario Manningham that failed multiple drug tests while in college, then lied about it during the NFL Combine interviews?

Just say no.

Wow, d-rod!! LOL!!! You missed one more thing,,,,he's a Wolverine!!! Just joking guys (no offense to Leon Hall). Our beloved Bengals HAVE to go defense in the first 2 rounds. In my twisted, little mind, they should go defense with 7 of the 10 picks. Let's face it, the D has been terrible for years! Defense wins championships. I know it's cliche', but look at the Giants. The Bengals D needs a couple "RED_ASSES" with a nasty disposition on the field. Oh, sure tackling would help.

Does anyone have an idea where Nakamura might go? Will he even get drafted? That guy could deliver a hit!!

Mark, I hope you don't mind links to other sites.

For info on Manningham and a professional take on it, read this http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFLDraft/Draft+Extras/2008/wwhi040808.htm

I'd bring him in and double check prior to the draft.

Mick, the first line of that article says it all:

"Two potential first-round, early-entry juniors — Kansas CB Aqib Talib and Michigan WR Mario Manningham — have been removed from the draft boards of multiple NFL teams because of character concerns."

Don't you think that the Bengals are one of those teams? They have been burned repeatedly ever since drafting questionable characters in 2005, and with all the Chris Henry drama finally coming to an end, I don't see them taking any more chances on questionable guys.

Other teams will do exactly what you say, bring him in and talk to him about what happended. If you remember, that is what the Bengals did with Chris Henry.

It's easy for a guy to say that he has changed (especially with millions of dollars staring him in the face), but only time will tell. For the Bengals, at this point in time, the risk definitely outweighs the reward.
