Blogger didn't work Saturday night

The Enquirer's Bengals blog was inoperable Saturday night because of a malfunction with Blogger software. A master blog file was created on the Enquirer's Web site.

Ok, so I'll comment on the game here.

In my opinion, the play that could have changed the game was Joseph's interception that was stripped by Corey Mays. I'm tellin' ya', had mays not knocked the ball out of Joseph's hands it would have been a pick six - a huge momentum shift.

I guess the same could be said about the Bengals offense.

That's okay. Neither did Cincy's defense.

Or offense.

Or special teams, or coaches, or...

It was a mercy killing.

What a coincidence - neither the Bengals offense or defense were working either!
I was there at Monster park and I'm at a loss. They look like they are playing with their hearts but not with their heads. It was painful to see the effort put out and not rewarded. I really hate to say this, but it seems like coaching has to take the hit for this one.

Somehow the perfect compliment to this broken team owned by an idiot and managed by a confused befuddled loser head coach is a broken blog.

Thank you for the symmetry.

Cleveland and Miami will polish off the Bengals and then we'll at least be higher on the draft board.

When Westbrook took a knee at the goal line tonight, I kept thinking, "hmmmmm, an NFL player who actually THINKS on the field, why don't we have players and coaches like that?

Instead, our players would have scored, giving the opponent the ball back and the possibility, however remote, of scoring a TD, executing an onside kick, and scoring another touchdown.

Westbrook did the little things right today including taking a knee, keeping possession with 2 minutes remaining and a four-point lead, and running out the clock (Dallas was out of timeouts).

Westbrook's "team" play is the opposite of the greedy desperate undisciplined inappropriately passive Bengals who seemingly pick the most important moments of the game to make the dumbest plays or call the most ignorant time outs (thanks, Marv!)

Thanks again!

What a shame, the Blogger didn't work so we could get the scoope of everything I was watching go wrong Saturday night.
This group (can't call it a team) of Rag Tag losers, under achievers, under-coached, and out-manned can only described as "PATHEDIC."
The O-line totally sucks and what they put out their when the other team is on offence can not be called a defence. They could make Ray Charles look great as a QB.
As an avid Bengal fan from east central Ohio since 1970, I can already hear the Dawg Clowns from the Mistake on the Lake licking their chops at another shutout this comming Sunday in the Queen City.

It didn't matter, they sucked with our without your running commentary. No disrespect to you intended Mark, just Marvin and the lame-ass Bengal-boys.

Oh my God, how sad. Even the BenGALs blog didn't work Saurday night. Can you say apropo?

Watching the GALs Saturday night, it occured to me. Despite Mike Brown and the lack of real player development and skill in finding potential talent (due to lack of football personnel in the GM office), the Gals could overcome at least some of this by remaining professional.
I know the season is over but Tj was throwing fits and crying like a little child who lost his wubby long before the season was over and Chad Johnson is such a mess that a good investment may be a professional psychiatrist on the sidelines during games. The star players, the leaders on this team...one stays silent (Carson), the other loses his composure and is too caught up in the title 2Nd recvr (TJ Hushmykleenex), and the third is a wishy washy wussy who fakes misreading routes so that he doesn't have to take a hit (Chad "momma's boy" Johnson).
I swear, this team needs a Ditka, Cowher or some other football guy who won't tolerate that crap.
Two best coaches the GALs ever had: Wyche, who knew how to innovate And Gregg, who knew how to motivate. Everyone else has been bargain basement for Mikey Mike and his daddy.
3S

By the way TJ- anyone non who dey head who lives and thinks outside of Mike Brown's Clowntown has known that you were better for this team than CJ ever was. Stop that crying and lose the chip on your shoulder and I'd take you on my team in a second.

No big deal. The Bengals were also "inoperable" on Saturday.

You know whats worst than fans talking smack about their team? Is the same fans who are talking smack are the one's who bought season tickets. Cincinnati's people are a bunch of sheep. I am embarrassed to call myself a bengals fan. Just a little hope is all what bengals fans want. Bunch of idoits.

Was in NYC Saturday night trying in vane to find a place with NFL Network. Finally gave up and went back to the room and watched a movie with the wife to be. Amazing how lucky I was after reading the reports on the game, and the Bengals futility. Also - did anyone else see the ESPN ticker Sunday AM that showed the score of the game as "49ers 49, Bangles 10"? The other funny thing, was the number of people I met that didn't know who TJ OR Chad was! There is life outside Bengaldom.

Lets face the facts, this team in the last 20 games is no better than when Marvin took over. Please don't tell me we have less talent than some of the teams that are beating us. I know it isn't going to happen, but its time to fire Marvin and start ANOTHER re-built.

How many times do we have to hear the same old, same old? Every press conference is the same drawn out broken record we heard the week before. "We are not very good right now. We did not execute. I did not throw the ball very well." Instead of hearing what went wrong, I want to hear what is being done about it. How is it going to get fixed? I know what went wrong, I watch the games. Come on coaches and players, give us something.

The Bengals are getting worse and Marvin appears to not want to take responsibility for a terrible defense. Mike Singletary is primed for a head coaching job. With what is hopefully a 'fixable' offense, maybe he is the guy to retool to the 'D'? Regardless, time for a change.
