Would it be too much to ask Big Willie to shut it down for the year? The Bengals sure could another roster spot.

Really Brooks, it takes you this long to come back from a groin pull? You gotta be kidding me.

Any word on whether the Bengals will make a play for Grady Jackson -- just released by the Falcons?

We could sure use a big run-stopper, and his teammates seem shocked by his release.

Just an observation. There are rumours of Chad Johnson being traded or wanting out of Cincinnati. Today, D. Hall CB, Falcons spoke out against the leadership of Atl management. See a match here? Johnson for Hall.

I don't know about the rest of Bengals fan, but I feel like they have almost no shot to win this game!

Willie Anderson out is a huge blow. They finally had the offensive line together last week and Watson ran for 120 yards.

Sure it was against the Jets, but I think the line being together was going to keep improving.

People will complain about Chad and Marvin again after the Bengals probably lose, but with the injuries I don't know how you can expect them to win.

I agree, I feel Big Willie whould shut it down surgically repair his foot problem and come back straong and in shape next year. That roster spot could be used on another LB or special teamer.

And fill it with what? Yet another fourth-rate linebacker?

Dude are u stupid? Big Willie on one leg is still one of the best linemen in the NFL. Who's so important on the practice squad, that we should replace him?

Why do we even keep Chatman on the roster?? The guy is always hurt! He never plays, get another linebacker instead.

Mark,

Have the Bengals commented on why Ahmad Brooks is taking so long to return? Just last week he was sprinting on the sidelines. I just hope that he does not have the dreaded sports hernia.

I noticed that Chris Mortensen has changed his story about the Chad Johnson report. Now he is saying that trading Johnson was his assessment of the situation. Who is going to crucify him for starting this fire storm?? ESPN is almost never held responsible for their irresponsible/wreckless reporting.

Willie has the most heart on the team although it is a business & he needs to be traded or let go after the season. Because he is past his prime & it is finally showing.

Any chance the Bengals go after Grady Jackson?

Willie being out is a blow, but seriously does anyone think that it would have made that big a difference. Fans should be prepared for single digit wins and double digit losses this year. This team is in a tailspin and there will be few highlights this year. Two winning seasons since 1989? How pathetic or stupid are we as Bengal fans?

ESPN is like the "National Enquirer" or "People's Magazine" of Sports. I bet they soon will start a TV program called "The American Football Player" and Chad, DeAngelo and Tank Johnson will be the Judges...

Brooks' injury must be pretty bad. The Bengals always lie about the severity of injuries. Remember Braham and his "bone bruise"? It turned out to be a depressed tibial plateau fracture.

That is a terrible title. I got excited thinking Willie Parker was out for the Steelers. Then was brought back to earth reading it was Willie Anderson. Darn!!

Yeah, dump Chad Johnson for D. Hall CB Falcons, and sign Grady Jackson...that would be great!

I mentioned D. Hall for C Johnson in earlier post. D. Hall been acting up in Atlanta. BUT that's whole point. Falcons have been desperate at WR for years... They are going draft a QB. Hall not happy. He is a legitimate All Pro Corner. You dangle Chad for Hall and demand a high draft pick. It's not just about trading Chad. It's what his value could bring in return. Atlanta might be desperate enough give up alot in trade.
