OU fan site: Bengals sign two Bobcats

Thanks to a reader for this tip. This item is on the Ohio University fans Web site:

Five Ohio football players signed deals with NFL teams Sunday as undrafted rookie free agents. The Cincinnati Bengals signed middle linebacker Matt Muncy and cornerback T.J. Wright. Other signees include tight end Rudy Sylvan with Detroit, wide receiver Scott Mayle with Buffalo and running back Voncarie Owens with St. Louis.

Great to see more Bobcats in the NFL, no longer will Dave Zastudil (P, Browns) and Dion Byrum (CB, Panthers) be our only two...

Don't forget Chip Cox (safety) with Washington.

Glad to see some Bobcats get in the NFL. Muncy is decent and Mayle is solid. Glad to see Muncy with the Bengals.

Can't wait to see what type of senior year McCrae has and where he'll go in the draft next year.

Here we go Bobcats! I think you have to look at the caliber coaching the Bobcats have gotten in the last couple years. Coaching and recruiting have improved drmatically over the past 10 years or so. Keep producing those Bobcat-Bengals here locally!
