Bulger practices, likely to start

St. Louis quarterback Marc Bulger has been cleared to practice after passing his neuropsych test Tuesday, the Belleville News-Democrat reported today.

Bulger is trying to return from the concussion he suffered after taking a blind-side hit against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 25, the newspaper reported. The team said Bulger would be re-evaluated after practice.

The Rams will be without their top backup quarterback, former Bengal Gus Frerotte. He threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns against the Rams but was ruled out for one week because of an injury to his throwing shoulder. The No. 2 quarterback for St. Louis this week will be Brock Berlin, signed last week from the Rams practice squad.

Of course, former Rams backup Ryan Fitzpatrick is the No. 2 quarterback for the Bengals. He was acquired in a trade before the season started but has not taken a snap this season.

They could start Elmer Fudd and still beat the pitiful excuse called the Bengals. Go Mike Brown...get that money and screw those fans...yeah!

I am just glad the college basketball season has started so I don't have to be shamed by the Bungals performance and told for the 20th year that the team sucks. I just laugh now when someone askes if I am going to some games this season. My self and several dozen Bungals fans have vowed to not spend another dime on ANY Bengals tickets, fan merchandise, or anything that will give Mike Brown ANY profit. To be totally honest I hope the team moves out of Cincy and someone who wants to do what is needed to win buys the franchise, changes the name so I can follow their progress without the previous bad memories of the past 20 years or so. Sorry Marvin but you are doomed. Just look around you, do you see any change coming? Is there a GM in the future? Do you really think Mike Brown will ever change to a winning owner? ha, ha, ha, not likely.

Mike Brown is a shy, quiet man. He is soft spoken and humble. The most important things in his life are 1. his family, 2. his faith in God, 3. his business. He does not take risks. He prefers sound safe investments. He woulld rather own real estate than stocks. He does gamble. He is a patient man who is always optomistic that the choices he made were the right ones. He does not enjoy firing people and will often look at the good of someone rather than the bad. His biggest goal for the Bengals is to leave a healthy and profitable enterprise over to his children and their family. He will only invest in the Bengals if he is guarenteed a return on his investment. He will not hire someone who may take away power over the Bengals from his family. He is very proud and grateful for his father. He is unknown outside of Cincinnati and football. You will never see Mike Brown doing commercial endorsements or standing on the sidelines during a game. You will not see him talk to the media very much. He stands in the shadows of the NFL owners and prefers not to hob knob with socialites. He is a good man, a good father, a good husband and a good freind. God Bless and Merry Christmas

3:24, an excellent, thoughtful post and I don't doubt it.

But it's also an excellent point that the Bengals will always be what they are.

Was that your point?

11:10 anaon,

To understand the Bengals, you must first understand the man that is on top of the organization. From there, you draw your own conclusions about the direction of the team.

BTW it was suppose to read "He does not gamble".
