Field goal draws boos

Shayne Graham kicked his second field goal, from 20 yards, with 2:16 left in the half.

The Bengals were fourth and 1 from the 2, and coach Marvin Lewis first decided to go for the first down. Then he called timeout. Then he decided to kick the field goal.

Fans booed.

The Steelers are up 14-6. There seems to be a lack of institutional confidence.

two fourth and ones, inside Steeler territory.
A punt and a field goal.
Conceding defeat, is what I would call it.
More booing to come.
The coaching staff deserves it all.
Oh, and Leon Hall, too.

Pathetic. No confidence in our offense when we settle for a field goal. Then, Pittsburgh shoves it down our throat to score again before halftime. It's time for a change.

How long does this city have to be embarrassed on a weekly basis before cleaning house of this inept coaching staff? Final of this game: 34-13

It is haltime and I could not wait to say what a bunch of wimps the Bengals are against Pittsburgh. The Defense is being man handled and when the Bengals were on the two yard line with 4th and goal, they wimped out and Lewis set the tone for the Bengals and Pittsburgh won the "Mental" game. Please fire Lewis and hire Cowder then u will see a true NFL team.

It looks like the old Bengals of the 1990s...the Bengals need to clean house, top to bottom, the Brown family is a joke and the Bengals won't win until they are gone. I quit wasting my Sundays watching these overpaid losers anymore. Count me in as a former fan. I am sick of stupidity and the lack of confidence. Wait...wait...wait...I can hear Marvin laughing at his news conference. Actually, he is right, everyone is laughing AT him and he is joining in. What a joke!

This team is not worth watching any more. They continue to prove they are not ready to play on Sunday and cannot make the plays that winning teams make. Teams like Pittsburgh know how to play winning football. This team's defense is HORRIBLE and they have selfish players on defense. As for me, I simply have better things to do on a Sunday afternoon than to watch these clowns.

I dont think it is the players,as much as it is the leaders, the owners and the coaches. you must have good leaders to WIN!!!!! please browns sell this team!!!!! and the new owners will get new coaches and this new owner will want to win!!!!! these players will then be a winning team.

to paraphrase: "....don't try to explain things to the media, they won't/don't understand." This time, I completely agree with Marv, I don't understand the call on 4th & 1. Please oh my liege, explain it to me.

Leon Hall looks lost because our Defensive coaches ARE lost.

If you can't PREPARE a guy with Hall's talent to play man coverage, you can't coach ANYONE to do ANYTHING right.
