Adalius Thomas crunches Bengals
New England linebacker Adalius Thomas dropped Bengals tailback Kenny Watson for a one-yard loss and then sacked Carson Palmer for an eight-yard loss on third down, forcing the Bengals to punt on their first possession.
Watson has run three times for nine yards. Palmer is 0-for-2 passing.
The Patriots, leading 3-0, have first down on their 38-yard line.
