Watson fumbles, injured

The Bengals drove back down the field into the red zone. Tailback Kenny Watson took a shovel pass from Palmer and ran to the 15-yard line, where he was stripped by linebacker James Harrison. Harrison was credited with the forced fumble and recovery. Watson was injured when left tackle Levi Jones accidentally smacked Watson’s face mask with his knee while running for the loose ball. The Bengals challenged the call that Watson was not down by contact and lost.
Watson rushed 19 times for 88 yards before the injury.

The Steelers lead 24-13 with 2:27 remaining. The Bengals just used their second timeout.

Beginning of game going into L column was Marvin's refusal go for it on 4th & 1 at Steelers 40 in first half. Punt, touchback, Steelers drive down field: TD. Game outcome predictable. I harp on it... Marvin stil doesn't get that his defense sux. You have to take chances on Offense with this D.

Horrible play calling today as the Bengals were extremely predictable in the redzone with the run. The struggles of the defense (other than injuries) is well documented. In my opinion, a lot of this blame is on the shoulders of the coaching staff. I think Marvin needs to seriously consider new O and D coordinators next year.

I was reading comments. What is deal with coaching staff not even having confidence in team on 4th down. Geez... I think assistant coaches are who they are because Marvin figures he gets fired. No one qualified be interim head coach. Losing team, Losing coaching staff.
