Rudi out; T.J. back

Tailback Rudi Johnson is not on the field for the afternoon practice with the Saints. He injured the top of his right foot in the morning practice.

Wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh is back in practice after missing the morning workout and the final practice of training camp Wednesday.

Cornerback Keiwan Ratliff missed both Thursday practices and the Tuesday and Wednesday practices at Georgetown, Ky., because he had all four of his wisdom teeth pulled.

Updated 5:20 p.m. -- During practice, rookie safety Marvin White injured his knee during a kickoff coverage drill. He walked off the field without assistance and went into the locker room with Bengals athletic trainer Paul Sparling.

what is going on with all the injuries?!?! at the rate we're going we arent gonna have any players left, we should stop having contact practices till the season starts. whats the status with rudi's foot? is this gonna be a nagging injury? are we totally screwed on running backs now and now its lookin like big willie will be out a mojority of the season (if not the entire) i mean come on do we just have the worst luck of any team?? playoffs are looking a lil shakey now

Worst luck of any team? Ever heard of the Cleveland Browns? Unless everyone who covers the Bengals is blowing smoke, the back-up linemen would start anywhere else in the league. If Willie needs to rest and recover for a few games, it isn't the end of the world. Rudi is a stud. He'll be fine.

This is our poor medical staff's issue and that this team is practicing way too hard....maybe Marvin should take them to the Waterpark.
