Quote of the day (early edition)

Bengals defensive tackle Sam Adams had his best game of the season Sunday against San Diego. The 340-pound Adams had two tackles and a sack, and he also got a hit on quarterback Philip Rivers.

Adams also is moving better on his injured knee.

Asked today in the locker room about his play Sunday, Adams said, "I feel a lot better. I feel like I changed sexes."

Reporter: You feel like you what?

Sam: "I feel like I'm a different human being."

Reporter: You changed what?

Sam: "Changed sexes. I'm a different human being right now."

As hopeful as i try to remain, I have this weird feeling that this sunday's game in New Orleans is going to be ugly. The bengals are teetering on the brink of implosion, and i think this may be the type of game where they get blown out. I hope i am wrong.

I feel the opposite. I have a feeling that the Bengals are gonna put up 50 on the Saints.

i hope you are right. with simmons and now jackson possibly not playing, i just don't know how they will slow down a pretty potent offense on the road.

I think you're both right, the Bengals will put up 50, but Reggie Bush will score four touchdowns, Duece will score two, Colston will score two, and a 41-yard field goal with 0:03 to play in the 4th quarter, after another phantom roughing the QB penalty is called on the Bengals, will give N.O. the 59-58 win.
