Houshmandzadeh drop forces Bengals punt

T.J. Houshmandzadeh dropped what would have been a first down in San Diego territory, forcing Kyle Larson to punt. Larson pinned the Chargers down at the 12-yard line with 11:24 remaining.

The attendance today is 65,917, the 25th consecutive Bengals home sellout, counting the postseason.

Let's face it... The Bungals cannot and will not be able to handle the pressure of all the off=field occuracnes this year, and the pressure of facing teams with a winning record.
Bungals fnas can only hope that these losses to good teams (as opposed to the teams they played last year) are character builders for next year... And hopefully GOOD character, as opposed to what we've seen this year... The Bungals are unfortunately DONE this year...

Hopefully the Brown family will fire either Marvin or both coordinators tomorrow morning.

Nice Defense....

I agree a coordinator has to go. You cannot give up 40 plus points in a half. Also Henry should be let go, his short arm of a sure touchdaown pass is one of many letdowns on his part.

Bresnahan must be fired immediately. Marvin should've fired him on the sideline. You can't fire the players, although many deserve it. Marvin still has my confidence, but he was supposedly a defensive genius everywhere he's been. We need to start seeing some of this. The offense and the players will give up on the season, as many of us fans have now done. And I can't blame them. This was the most demoralizing loss under Marvin Lewis. What happened in the second half?

You really have to wonder what is wrong with the Bengals defense. Two years ago Marvin replaced Leslie Frazier with Brensahan because the defense basically sucked. Now we are seeing the same thing happening under Brensahan.

About the only thing you can say in his defense is that the Bengals are playing with three back up linebackers.

Time for Marvin to be fired if this team does not rebound and at least have a winning record. What has Marvin done? Nothing. This is his 4th year and more than likely he will have one winning season in 4 years.

The defense quit in the 2nd half. Plain and simple. I called it at haltime; they thought they had already won the game and were going to get rolled over.
