LB Simmons inactive; QB Wright back as No. 2
BALTIMORE -- Linebacker Brian Simmons (neck) and safety Kevin Kaesviharn (knee) are among the Bengals eight inactive players today against the Ravens.
Rookie Ahmad Brooks will start at middle linebacker, and Rashad Jeanty is back as the starting strong-side linebacker since injuring his foot in the third game at Pittsburgh.
Other Bengals inactives: wide receiver Reggie McNeal, linebacker A.J. Nicholson, center Rich Braham, left tackle Levi Jones and wide receiver Kelley Washington. Doug Johnson is the emergency third quarterback. Anthony Wright, who had an emergency appendectomy, is back as the backup quarterback. He played the last several seasons for the Ravens.
Andrew Whitworth is starting at left tackle, and Eric Ghiaciuc will get another start at center.
The Ravens inactives are: cornerback David Pittman, running back P.J. Daniels, cornerback Corey Ivy, running back Cory Ross, guard Ikechuku Ndukwe, wide receiver Devard Darling and defensive tackle Dwan Edwards.
