Please allow me one last lyric for Mom
The sixth track on the last Johnny Cash record, "American V: A Hundred Highways," is an old Hank Williams song titled "On the Evening Train."
Driving through the night through the Illinois and Indiana darkness until 2 a.m. today, as my three children slept, I played it over and over and over again.
"I pray that God will give me courage
To carry on 'til we meet again.
It's hard to know she's gone forever.
They're carrying her home on the evening train.
They're carrying her home on the evening train."

Mark, sorry to hear about your loss, mothers are always hard to lose. I'm sure most Bengal fans who read your columns are all praying for you and your family
