Patriots push out to 21-13 lead

Laurence Maroney ran 25 yards for a touchdown with 4:27 left to up New England's lead to 21-13. Four Bengals -- tackle John Thornton, linebacker Caleb Miller, cornerback Tory James and safety Madieu Williams -- missed tackles on the run.

James also was beaten on a 19-yard completion on a third-and-9 play, when Brady connected for a 19-yard pass to Doug Gabriel. The drive was five plays for 75 yards.

The Bengals have allowed first downs on third down plays with 9, 13, 5, 3 and 6 yards to go.

The Bungals will always revert back to being the Bungals. It is not a team that ever has known consistent success.

Why do you think Marvin gave up on the team in the third quarter by punting on 4th and 1? The stats won't show it because they were so deep that they had to take a delay penalty to give themselves more room to punt. The team completely folded after that vote of no confidence.

Johnson should know better than to trash talk the Pats pre game, shame on him, many have paid a dear price for it.
Also, Carson said, "we should have beaten them", would have, should have, the SUPERIOR team won yesterday.
PATS FAN (3 rings YEP )
