Pollack inactive for Ravens

By Mark Curnutte
Enquirer staff writer

BALTIMORE – The Bengals enter the game today with just 52 players on their roster, and they de-activated just six players to reach the 46-man limit.

Inactive for the game against the Ravens are starting outside linebacker David Pollack, fullback Nick Luchey, defensive linemen Carl Powell, Matthias Askew and Jonathan Fanene and wide receiver Kelley Washington.

Landon Johnson will start for the second week in a row at strong-side linebacker in place of Pollack.

The Bengals have just six defensive linemen active, and coach Marvin Lewis is without linebacker Pollack, who also plays defensive end on pass downs.

This really has nothing to do with this post, but....
I was noticing that the media covers the Bengals with more of a "us" and "we" attitude than in previous years. For example...
"We beat the Ravens" and "We play the Colts next weekend". In the past it was always more of a "They" attitude.
It is as if the media has jumped on the bandwagon. I only wonder, if the Bengals struggle next year, will they still be on the wagon.

This Bengals forum is dead. Chad Johnson and the Bengals will go down to the Colts 35-20.
Also, the Bengals will only make the playoffs as a wild card team and will lose in the first round to San Diego. LT will run, catch and pass for a TD leading the Chargers to a 21-10 victory.

"this ain't your daddy's bengals" . . . yet everyone wants to dance around to who-dey and beg Chad to do the Ickey Shuffle and compare this team to the '88 Bengals because, hey, this team is exactly like the '88 Bengals because of, um, the wins and stuff. You know? But, no, these aren't our daddy's bengals, even though we are trying to be EXACTLY like our daddies.

Lotto numbers: 2, 22, 23, 32, 38
Hoffa: I'm working on it
Common cold: There is no prediction, you are looking for a cure.
Of course Peyton isn't going to give the bengals anything to feed on. I'm not a hater, just a realist. You'll see, you'll see.
