Bengals cornerback Johnathan Joseph only looked like Vince Young's intended receiver. Joseph grabbed the ball thrown for tight end Bo Scaife and returned it four yards.
Today I happened to hear a sports commentator refer to quaterback Vince Young as a "freak" in reference to his prowess and skills as an athlete. Why is it that whenever an African American athlete is at the top of his game, he is described as a "freak" i.e. Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan, as if it is unnatural or abnormal for them to be that good. You never hear a superstar such as Peyton Manning or Phil Michelson refered to as a "freak", they are usually rfered to in more positive terms such as a phenonenon or prodigy.
