Carson to T.J. from 30

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Bengals drove 90 yards on eight plays, with Carson Palmer throwing 30 yards to T.J. Houshmandzadeh for a touchdown. It brings the Bengals back within 10 of the Chiefs, 27-17, with 5:03 left in the game.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez had grabbed a 27-yard touchdown from Damon Huard on the previous possession for Kansas City.

Houshmandzadeh's touchdown, his second of the game, gives him seven in five games. His five receptions for 100 yards push his season numbers to 44 for 460.

TV guys just said Bearcats haven't had a blocked punt since 1995.

Mark, is this true?

Carson was just intercepted so the game is over. I'm really tired of the Chad Johnson show. I know it's funny and entertaining, but I would much rather have winning football and a clutch performer. I think if you check the statistics, Chad rarely if ever has a good second half when the game is on the line. He builds stats, but he's not a winner. If your are a clutch performer and you are a big part of helping your team win, then the fun side is acceptable. The current situation calls for serious preparation and execution. Chad nor the rest of the Bungals are capable of either.

Would someone please tell Dave Lapham that this is just a game. I just listened to his locker room report and I felt like I was at a wake. It's a game, Dave. The bengals have a bad team and bad chemistry this year. They stink.. It's OK. It's still just a game.

Dear Mr Marvin Lewis,

While we all pray for your exit ASAP, can you please not totally ruin Carson Palmer's confidence. You have had a four years and the team is now at the brink if a sub .500 season. I doubt we will even win four game all year. Please leave ASAP so as to not ruin our QB on your way out.

Warm Regards,

Cincinnati Bengals Fans

P.S. He said Bengals - not Bearcats. Now there's a team with a real coach!!

Looking at this schedule, and taking the way they played today, I see 3 win-able games on the schedule (Jets, Rams, Fins). If you think that they will win another division game, you are deluding yourself. Will 4-12 be enough for the idiots that run this franchise to fire Marvin Lewis? Probably not. Hopefully, it will set in motion the thing that will, less ticket sales next year. F' Mike Brown and his whole family.
