Flat Bengals losing 20-7 at the half
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Dave Rayner's 20-yard field goal extended the Chiefs' lead to 20-7 at the half.
The Chiefs drove 58 yards for the field goal on the last play of the half. The drive used the final 1:28 of the half.
The Bengals had first down on their 15 at the two-minute warning, with 1:52 remaining in the half. Their possession used 13 seconds. The Bengals line can not protect Palmer from Kansas City's pass rush.

This team has quit. All it took was KC to respond to our TD in the 1st to make these guys start thinking "Here we go again".
To bad Levi wasn't ruled inactive because after all his whinning about his role he is exactly where he should be which is the bench.
What an ugly display of offense and defense in the first half. This team lacks any discipline. You have one of the best QBs in the league and you can't protect him. Terrible.
The coaches gave up. We ran a off tackle on a 3rd and ten with 2 mins left. They basically have said "we can't stop you". What do you have to lose. If we even score a fg we are within 7pts with the ball in 2nd half. I realize the players are playing flat, but these coaches are terrible!!
This team comes out flat every year following the bye..... with the Browns and Ravens both winning, I guess its already time to look towards the draft
why would you look forward to the draft considering how terrible the Bengals drafts have been in the Marvin era. Other than no-brainer pick Carson Palmer, they have zero pro bowlers selected by Marvin Lewis after five years.
