Questions remain at center

The post-practice injury report continued to point today to a first career start Sunday for Ben Wilkerson.

Starting center Rich Braham (knee) was doubtful and did not practice. Backup Eric Ghiaciuc, who sprained his right knee Thursday night against Baltimore, is questionable and did not practice. He had a brace on the right knee over the lunch hour.

Coach Marvin Lewis would not tip his hand about his plans in the middle of the offensive line for Sunday.

Wide receiver Kelley Washington (hamstring) is questionable and did not practice.

Five players were probable, and only safety John Busing (knee) practiced today. The four other probable players who did not practice were defensive tackles Sam Adams (knee), Shaun Smith (illness) and John Thornton (knee) and wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back).

For Oakland, wide receiver Jerry Porter (hip) is doubtful, and guard Barry Sims (abdomen) is questionable.

Did Braham have a setback? i thought a couple of weeks ago, they were talking about having him ready for the ravens or the raiders game. OR is Marvin Lewis saving him and Levi till the Indy game?

Marvin will never tip his hand on the return of any injured player.

Braham could be back to near tip-top shape, but we'd have to wait until game time to find out.

Richie needs to get on the Sam Adams practice schedule. Never practice/always play.

Why are the voters on here for the who will win and by how much poll thinking that the Raiders will win by more than 7? Easily, the Bengals will win by more than 7!! I know you can't overlook any team; but the Raiders are BAD! Go, Bengals! I see them winning by a score around 31-10!

we need the o-line back and healthy again.

after Ben - whi is next at center? Steinbach?

Are the bengals going to re-sign steinbach?

if braham is near tip top shape, i would love to have him out there. 75% of him is way better than 100% of wilkerson and guichec.

I am just wondering if marvin thinks the raiders are a gimme, and is resting everyone till the indy/denver games?
i doubt the bengals can afford steibech after spending huge amounts on their tackles and bobby williams, I would of easily paid steibech over williams any day.
