Henry makes little effort to catch thrown pass

INDIANAPOLIS -- Wide receiver Chris Henry continues to get chances to make plays but consistently makes just one-handed efforts on the ball. He keeps one hand back to protect himself. Henry has alligator arms. He doesn't give near the effort that Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh do on every ball.

Seriously. I was just thinking this. Why do we continue to throw to him?

At least Henry is ON THE FIELD, not jogging off to get an IV bag because he eats at McDonalds every day and doesn't hydrate during games.

Cut him. They've been looking for a reason to cut him within the rules. Unfortunately, there's probably some stupid clause in the collective bargaining agreement that prohibits teams from cutting players for the reason of "alligator arms." They prohibit everything else.

From the coach's perspective, Henry's concern with protecting himself is worse than a DUI. Palmer's last throw hit Henry in the hand. When they watch the film the coaches will be livid. I used to root for this guy. He's a punk.

Seriously, why does Chad decide he needs an IV when we are on offense after Manning and the Colts have the ball for over 5 minutes. Why can't the Bengal trainers figure out how to administer an IV on the sidelines? Is there some rule that states a player must get an IV in the locker only?

The hell with Chris Henry. The guy has above average talent, but he's soft, has no heart, and flat out doesn't care. Ever notice when they show the Bengal players on the sideline during a losing effort you never see him standing there looking upset like Chad or TJ? No. That's because he's too busy worrying about where he's gonna go drinking that night and how much cash he'll need for his drug dealer. Get rid of him after the season one way or another.

Gee whiz I had such high hopes for this kid too. Man some of his catch's have been things of beauty.
What I'd give for that ability!
What is the malfunction? Even if he ends up down the road I really hope he get's it together. He sure could be something special if only.........?
