I can't believe that nobody commented on the incredibly stupid timeout called by the Bengals on the play prior to the Palmer sack and fumble. Prior to the timeout, the refs rule that Chad J. caught a pass on a play that was almost certain to be challanged. A challange would have resulted in a timeout and if Indy hadn't challenged the 20+ yard play, the Bengals would have gotten a gift and had the ball within Indy's 30. The Bengals should have been sprinting to the line for a quick snap and forced Indy to make a quick decision without the benefit of multiple replays.

This bonehead move was just typical of the pathetic "thinking" that went into the game. The offensive play calling stunk and the defensive "strategy" was just lame. Letting Manning have all the 5-15 yard passes he wanted without bringing any blitzers was inexcuseable. Instead of giving up the big play, the Bengals let the Colts control the game and pile up 30 first downs and 34 points. BRILLIANT!

Oh well, maybe theBengals can get back into town before all of the bars close.
