Lewis deactivates Henry for Pats game

Chris Henry is not playing today. The talented but troubled wide receiver is one of the Bengals' inactive players today, the team just announced.

In place of Henry, Antonio Chatman will make his Bengals debut at wide receiver -- along with Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Kelley Washington.

Henry was a passenger in the car driven by Odell Thurman when the Bengals linebacker was cited for DUI early Monday morning. Henry was seen vomitting out a window of the vehicle by witnesses.

Other Bengals inactives are wide receiver Reggie McNeal (who also was in the car; in fact, it was his vehicle), safety Dexter Jackson, linebacker A.J. Nicholson, center Rich Braham, wide receiver Tab Perry and linebacker Rashad Jeanty.

The Bengals have four changes in the starting lineup: Eric Ghiaciuc is starting at center for Braham, Kevin Kaesviharn is starting for Jackson at strong safety, Landon Johnson moves from weak-side linebacker to strong-side linebacker, and Caleb Miller will start at weak-side linebacker.

Rough game any way you slice it. I trust that Marvin Lewis did the right thing in deactivating Chris`Henry. Time will tell if the message was received.
Jared Allen of the Chiefs just got picked up for his second recent DUI. I think the behavior issues on the Bengals are really no different than the issues on the other 31 NFL teams.
