Lewis pleased with first-half showing, except ...

"We got accomplished what we set out to do," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said at halftime. "We got some snaps in for the first units, they did pretty well, and we got them out.

"We had some good offensive rhythm, but we had some procedure penalties. You know what I feel about those."

The Bengals were penalized twice for 10 yards, both false starts by left tackle Levi Jones.

Lewis kept wide receiver Chris Henry in the game in the third quarter, though Henry started and is the team's third receiver.

Shayne Graham kicked a 22-yard field goal with 7:25 remaining in the third quarter to give the Bengals a 17-0 lead.

The Bengals drove 15 plays, 63 yards in 7:35 for the score.
