Palmer: "Like a business day"

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer spoke at halftime tonight about his performance against the Packers.

On his emotion upon returning to play: "I can't say I felt real emotional. It felt just like a business day -- a chance to get some work in. I got a warm feeling hearing the cheers from the fans, but otherwise, it was just business."

On the play when he was taken down hard by Packers defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins: "I have to say it felt good. It felt good to get hit and to know my knee could withstand the contact. They can talk all they want about you being ready to go, but until you get pressure from another player, that's when you know you really feel confident about it."

On the offensive success in the first half, when the Bengals led 34-7: "It's just fun to get the ball into the hands of the playmakers we have and watch them run."
