What is the point of you blogging if you're not going to update the score with each post?

HA HA HA HA!!!!!

The Bengals Suck....Always Have and always will!

The fans are as pathetic as the team for continuing to support such a terrible team and the Brown family!

Announcers kept talking about Carson's ability to rack up points. It would be nice if he decided to do it for the Bengals. Has he completely lost his ability to read coverage or is he just hoping that anyone will catch the ball without dropping it

The fat lady is singing loudly; the season didn't even get off the ground for the Bengals.

Why would the Bengals decline the penalty to allow the Cards to kneel the ball? I know it wouldn't have mattered, but why fully give up.

WE LOST TO THE CARDINALS!

oh nobody wants to talk about our poster boy carson palmer and the four int's, but we'll still find a way to place the blame for this lost on chad. marvin has lost control of this team, he reminds me of bruce coslet on the sidelines
just standing there without a clue on how to stop the bleeding. note to marvin 1st clue fire defense coordinater.

I had two pretty good tickets which I gave to my sister in law and her daughter.

I remember when my Reds tickets started going that way.

Glad I didn't go. The yard looks better and I'm only mildly pissed off instead of really pissed off.

Continously successful NFL franchises (e.g. Steelers, Patriots)have proven three areas of an organization determine their success. Players, coaches and managment. Since Mike Brown became the GM, the Begals have changed players and coaches without much success. The only constant during the Bengals ongoing failure is Mike Brown. Until he admits he lacks his father's skill to manage the franchise and hires a GM, an occasional .500 season could be the only reason to celebrate on Fountain Square. Too bad the tax payers in Hamilton county commited to deliver a new stadium while Mike Brown won't commit to delivering winning franchise!

Absolutely PATHETIC! I'm tired of hearing how powerful this offense is. Seeing Chad sitting on the ground POUTING about having fumbled a ball away while players are still scrambling for position 15 feet away was infuriating! A perfect example of the problem with Chad and the coaches who put up with it. The play calling was atrocious again today too. Seems like the longer the yardage needed, the shorter the pass routes are. If we have such great receivers, isn't it interesting that they rarely get open? Might be because certain ones run a half-a** route and quit while Carson is looking for help. Chad's weak effort on a certain play enabled his defender to peal off and go after the ball in flight to another receiver behind him and make the interception. The play didn't involve you personally Chad so no big deal. These are just a couple of observations. Get an offensive coordinator who matches up with the talent. Take some of the play calling away from Carson. The audibles at the line are becoming a joke because an advantage is rarely gained. I have my marshmallows ready for the roasting that will go on during the sports talk shows Monday. It's the only thing left to enjoy!

4:18 - you took the words right out of my mouth.

What a sad football team.

At least there was some attempt at defense today.

Carson Palmer takes the blame for the whole team every week but today he deserved it. I guess he is entitled to an off day.

Why didn't the Bengals go for 2 after they scored to make it 28-26?

It ultimately did not affect the outcome but what if neither team had scored after that?

This blog sucks. I could do a better job of updating the game and I don't get paid to do it. You could at least write a quick wrap up when the game is over.

There is plenty of blame to go around. It is all about a lack of FOCUS. Dropped balls, penalties, poor QB decisions, etc. CP had better concentrate on passing the football this offseason instead of hitting golf balls. The glow of his halo is flickering. Henry gets hammered for dropping 2 critical passes. Geeeze, he's been out since last season and other notables are dropping passes and they have been playing every game. NO FOCUS!

Henry Drops Pass

Chad Johnson Fumbles

Did you notice Carson Palmer threw several interceptions?

What's up with Carson Palmer? He's overthrown and underthrown at least as many times as w.r's have run bad routes or dropped passes....he's not having a good year.

I know he hasn't had any conflicts with valet parkers, thus it may not have commanded much of your attention.

I was actually impressed with how our defense played today. Other than a good chunk of the first half, which consisted of Warner picking apart our awful secondary, I thought our guys stepped it up in the second half and showed what they are capable of if they play with intensity (But don't get me wrong, I still loathe Chucky boy with a passion). It's hard to believe that it was our offense that did us in today. There is no excuse for a receiving corps as talented as ours to drop 7 balls, many in crucial situations. And what the hell is going on with Carson Palmer? Some of those INT's were nowhere near our guys.

Our chances for the playoffs are done. As bad as it sounds, I hope we continue losing so that we can at least secure a decent draft pick. We can either have another 8-8 season, miss the playoffs and have a mediocre spot in the draft, or we can swallow our pride and attain the miserable record we deserve and move up in picks. But even if that happens, our laughable front office will find us another Ki-Jana Carter...

what a joke of a game. all of our best players fell apart. could someone please get Dexter Jackson some Depends? he looks O-L-D out there. a step slow on every pass play.

btw, someone needs to say how ridiculous it is that bengals.com doesn't allow comments on the site anymore. classic mike brown style...ignore the bad news and maybe it'll go away...

carson shoulders blame, bt you also have to throw in there the inability of Chad to hold on to the ball and Chris Henry's failure to catch the ball in crunch time. Sad to say that the Bengals have take a winner in Palmer and "BENGALIZED" him to the point of making just horrible decisions.

Enough with the "Carson is one of the best QBs in the NFL" stuff. No, he's not. He's loaded with talent. He has great WRs to throw to. But at this point in his career there is just no excuse for throwing the kinds of interceptions he threw yesterday. Claiming Rolle "wasn't where he was supposed to be"?? Huh? And I don't want to hear "Arizona knew they'd be throwing". If Carson is really in the "top 3" of QBs in the NFL, he has a better day than that even if there's 15 defenders on the field. That was awful.

I guess the Bengals have gotten so bad their blog isnt't even worth updating?

Or maybe people stopped posting due to lack of interest?

Seriously, this is what being a BenGAL fan has come down to? Taking comfort in a Steeler's loss? Well, I'm sure us Steeler fans out there will get by somehow.

I ended up driving by the stadium yesterday coming back from the Gap Outlet, and was amazed to see all the sheople in the stands. PBS was packed to the rafters. I just smiled, shook my head, and allowed my annoyances with who dey heads to start to creep in until I realized something:
You dumbasses keep buying tickets, Mike Brown keeps making money (TV contract/revenue sharing don't hurt much either) = Will not make changes to how team is run = Shitty Bengals teams for who knows how much longer = at least 2 division wins a year for my Steelers and one less team to have to compete with within the division.
Thank you Who dey heads, and thank God for Mike Brown.
3-S Stay Stoopid Sincy, keep buying those tix you sheep.

Exactly why does anyone rate Palmer amidst the elite QBs in the league? What games does he win for the team or pull out with a last minute drive that the team would have not otherwise won? The 4 int.-game not only provides that Palmer can be ordinary, but also downright pathetic. If we wanted int. returned for TDs, we could have kept Kitna who had that same ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Palmer has not stepped up EVEN ONCE this season in which a depleted team needed him to. Exactly what sort of 'leadership' is he trying to develop? Leadership pure and simple is leading a team to victory on the field. The offense has been disorderly and uneventful and Palmer is huge portion of the under-achievement.

The team is in disarray. Mike Brown needs to hire a GM and that GM needs to hire a new head coach. I used to think the 2 coordinators were to blame. But under a new head coach, who knows? It starts at the top, if MBrown refuses to do the obvious and hire the GM then the results will remain the same. This is really a bad team right now.

I never would have believed that I would actually get to the point where I wish the Browns would sell the team to another city. It sickens me to see this organization fail year after year. The front office is not able/willing to field a real NFL level coaching staff (we have all minor league caliber coaches). Get people who can accurately evaluate talent and let them pick top flight players who can win. Mike Brown must think he is a football man because he has the name Brown...lot's of things are brown.
