Bengals set home attendance record
Attendance for the Monday night game was 66,113, a new Bengals franchise record. The previous record was 66,104 on Oct. 23, 2005, against Pittsburgh.
The score is 27-13, New England, following a 48-yard field goal by the Bengals' Shayne Graham.

I feel sorry for the fans who ponied up good hard-earned money for this crappy product.
Mike Brown is laughing all the way to the bank!!
I'm glad to see there was a record crowd to witness that fine display of middle school level football. This is ridiculous. I am tired of routing for a team that is going no where. When will the Brown family leave town? Just give us our team back.
The worst part of this season is that the schedule is fairly easy from here on out. It is possible that this team goes anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6 and none of the problems (starting with the head coach) of this team will be addressed.
And, no Kornheiser, they won't go 16-0. They have played teams with a combined record of 4-12 this season. Shut up.
This season is already a great success to the Bengal organization.
They will do nothing to improve this team. Just like they did nothing in the offseason.
We are all fools.
When are we going to get a defense that plays every down. I'm tired of seening Justin Smith's back because he can't stay home. Why so many injuries? Are to easy on these guys in training camp and the offseason?
Plain and simple...this team just sucks
I guess those extra admissions were pigeons?
Or were they just a few extra suckers dressed up in their Bengals garb giving Mikey-boy their dough for another team full of promises but no substance?
Sorry, but I watched "The War" on PBS during the first half, watched the halftime updates, then watched about half of the third quarter. Not wasting any more time on them.
The defense played hard, but they are always a step late or in the wrong spot. No one ever steps up and makes plays.
Bengal Fans - there's something good to be made of this mess!
Bet the ranch against the Bengals & the spread - it was 8 points tonight - you would've been an easy Winner!
Mike (& brothers, daughters, son-in-laws, grandkids, did-I-miss-anyone?) are all laughing all the way to their financial advisors, accountants!
That's what lawyers do.
Bad team, worse franchise, bad coaching, bad scouts, and even worse are the idiots who spend money to watch this crap.
Defense sucks, can't Lewis get it?!?!?!
I received the following text message from a season ticket holding friend right after the game:
"What a monumental waste of my time and money. Every Bengals coach needs to be fired. We got dominated in every aspect of the game."
That sums it all up.
GO BEARCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a winner with players who compete.
TIme for Marvin to pack up and take his worthless coordinators with him.
Did I say GO BEARCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sound like a bunch of rubes, if you ask me.
This is a bad team. 4-12 is very realistic.
How can you be out of linebackers? Everyone has injuries. This is unheard of.
The job is too big for Marvin. He is in the mold of Norv Turner, good assistant but not head coaching material.
1-3
Season over
Lots more injuries to boot
I guess it took 4 whole quarters to figure out that 10-15 yard routes over the middle weren't going to get the job done against the Pats? Stupid coaches, every last one of them needs to be fired.
The Bengals played hard, but were just flat out over matched. The Patriots are just a better team on all sides of the ball. The defense has been suspect all season but they are doing the best with what they have. The NFL is based on how you draft, and the current Bengals are basically playing as if they didn't participate in the 2005 draft. The lose of David Pollack, neck, and the lose of O'dell Thurman, suspension, are the main reason the Bengals are having weekly try-outs at linebacker, and have trouble defending anyone. The season isn't over yet but everyone else needs to heal over the bye week for anything to be salvaged in 2007. There is still hope
66,000 pigeons, lots of poop on the field. Worst defense + injuries + worst coaches in the NFL = Doo Hey, Doo Hey, Doo Hey You Can't Shoot Dem Pigeons!
Maybe Chad Johnson ran a bad route or two tonight but Carson Palmer's accuracy is beginning to resemble Phil Dumatrait's control.
Was Carson trying to get Ocho Stinko killed with that 2 stories above Chad's head over the middle pass late in the game?
I hereby volunteer to pack this team up for their trip to Los Angeles. Hey city of Angels, want an NFL franchise? You can have this load of crap!
The Bengals had a shot at being a great team two years ago. That is if the Defense could have been built. Marvin where is the 'D'. You are suppose to be this expert at defense, where is it. All you seem to do is try to strip the ball and try to get turnovers. You have to stop them first. Cant strip the ball or pick it off if the defense cant keep with the person they are defending or even tackle them. Common its basics. What the hell are you doing? The team is simply bad. No direction, no control, and nobody doing their job. You are being paid to play and win. Not whine and blame it on somebody else. Paul Brown knew what he was doing, he changed the game. You marvin are no paul brown, right now you are just in the list of the nameless coaches that have come and gone and left a trial of stink. And Mike Brown you are a disgrace to your name sake. Smearing the legend of a great coach with Paul Brown. The Bengals need to shape up or just get out of town.
"When will the Brown family leave town?"
Ha! Fat chance. They OWN this town. Mike Brown controls the Cincinati riverfront. They actually get paid by the city and county to put a crappy product on the field (paid for by the city and county) year after year after year.
They have the sweetest deal in the NFL. Why leave?

Even worse than that are idiots who obviously are not Bengals fans who have nothing better to do than post comments on a Bengal blog.
