Johnson to Henry from 58; 24-19

Wide receiver Chris Henry, who has starter's ability, continues to chew up third-string defenses in the second half of preseason games. He caught a 58-yard touchdown from Doug Johnson on a crossing pattern, running the final 40 yards for the score.

With kicker Shayne Graham out with a hip pointer, the Bengals again went for the two-point conversion. It failed when Johnson and tight end Daniel Coats crossed their signal.

Left tackle Levi Jones continues to get a great deal of work in his first action of the preseason.

Panic...... Hell Yes!!!! the defense is horrible... where is this new speed we are suppose too have.... Brooks looks lost on every play, he will shot the gap and the o-line just pushes him in the back out of the play. The O-Line is giong to get Carson killed playing like this. Rudi, quite as it is kept, is missing a-lot holes.... rudi needs to get back too seeing a hole and hitting it hard.... Panic.... Let's just hope it is preseason jitters

Not a lot to be real excited about in this game. O.K., no turnovers from starting offense, Rudi looked good, had a nice loooong drive. But still out of sync a bit. As for the defense, still waiting!!!

Ok,

Let me ask the 'this is just a preseson game' fans. Did the Colts look like this last year? My guess is the answer is an Emphatic NO! We are not catching passes, we are not making tackles in pairs and 3's, we are not making our coverages, there is not any Kasveharn mentality anywhere on the field (apologies about the spelling), and we do silly things like run it when we know there is so much at steak for 5 yards. How can a team that is missing it's star quarterback HANDLE US LIKE THAT? If it were just a question of Carson and Chad, we would have it made. However, this is not the case. The off season was supposed to be a bargan barn, instead we sold the farm. We are not ready, (except for Chad, maybe)and we need to get to ready FAST cause we are going to have our faces knocked off from game one. The team is comfortable...TOO COMFORTABLE.

The Bengals look like an 8 - 8 team to me. The defense can't stop the pass which is deja vu of last year. When are we going to stop giving Marvin Lewis a pass? He came to Cincinnati as a defensive genius and now has had enough years to put his own players in place. By this time, I would have expected to see a team built around its stifling defense, but the reality is I really haven't seen any improvement in 5 years. The offense is explosive at times, but inconsistent and is obviously going to miss Chris Henry as the third receiver. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's going to be a disappointing/non-playoff season.

There was a football game last night??? Where did I miss that? I thought I was watching the Michael Vick show, you mean there was a GAME !!!?????? Wonder why the Worldwide Leader in Sports didn't have the GAME on last night?
So, did Levi play last night? Guess ESPN didin't think that was worth interrupting the MV Apology Tour last night. Likewise the story on our kicker going down. I think it was the second quarter before I even saw a friggin' replay for cryin' out loud.
I am one of the last holdouts who does not have cable, and still uses a roof antenna. Everytime I think to myself that maybe I would like having cable (mainly so I could watch stuff like MNF), things like last night's abortion of a football broadcast happen to remind me why paying for TV is a really stupid idea.
