Bengals take 17-10 lead on second Palmer-Chad TD
NEW ORLEANS -- The Bengals responded to the Saints' tying score by going 72 yards for a touchdown, the final 60 coming on a Carson Palmer pass to Chad Johnson. It was Johnson's second of the game and fourth in two weeks.
Palmer moved left out of the pocket to escape the rush, and cornerback Fred Thomas bit up, allowing Johnson to release down the sideline, catching the lofted pass and out-running the secondary to the end zone. At the end of the run, Johnson injured his right hamstring, reaching back to grab it after crossing the goal line.
Johnson has four receptions for 138 yards, giving him 55 catches for 880 yards and six touchdowns at this minute.
