I think Andrew Whitworth merits a game ball. Whitworth took the place today of the second best left tackle in the NFL and withstood a variety of stunts designed to confuse him. He made only one noticeable error: Rucker's sack in the first quarter. Kudos also to #71 who stymied Peppers.

It might be too early to declare the last 2 drafts as the best drafts of all time, but excluding injuries and suspensions, look at the personnel the Bengals have gotten from the last couple of draft classes:
JOHNATHON JOSEPH
ANDREW WHITWORTH
DOMATO PEKO
DAVID POLLACK
ODELL THURMAN
CHRIS HENRY
ERIC GHIACIUC

Not to mention Ahmad Brooks in the 3rd round of the supplemental draft.

Marvin Lewis and company have done a great job selecting picks. The future looks great for this team.

The "O-line" got it right this time . . .

But they are almost the sole reason that we have two losses. I'm not letting them off the hook yet. If they conduct business-as-usual against the ATL Hawks and give Carson time and Rudi holes to work with, then Maybe they have stepped up.
But that loss to Tampa hurt. And it all started with a shaky front line.
