While obviously that comment was reactionary, I do question you putitng this information regarding Chris Henry in the paper. I hope you have a "reliable" source. I also question the intergrity of a journalist who speculates about the comings and goings of a professional athlete (Henry) that has not been charged with breaking a law - Not even his probation.

I can only imagine some of the insane emails you must get. It's a wonder some of those people know how to use computers. Clearly they don't know how to use the caps lock key.

Mark,

I hope you realize the proportion of your readership that absolutely values the quality of your reporting. Dissing emails like that cited in the blog may frustrate you, but there are a lot of people who count on you for accurate reporting. You have to report the Thurman story; you have no other choice. As a fan, I can only hope that a player of Thurman's prodigious athletic talent will finally assume a modicum of responsibility for his behavior. I'm not optimistic that he will.

Reporting that Henry, who is under probation, and probably not permitted to drink alcohol, is incredibly germaine to Mark's principal task - reporting on the Cincinnati Bengals.

What a loser that dude is. I agree with Anon 4:25 - maybe it was Odell or Henry. Or at least someone with the I.Q. of those thugs.

reliable source? How many cops do you think were at the scene? This was all around the police force in a few hours.
